トークイベント：ゴードン・マッタ＝クラークと話したいこと / Talk Event: What we want to talk with Gordon Matta-Clark
1970年代のニューヨークを中心に活動したアーティスト、ゴードン・マッタ゠クラーク（1943-1978）の展覧会が9月17日まで東京国立近代美術館で開催されています。
マッタ゠クラークの活動はアート、建築、ストリートカルチャー、食など多岐にわたることもあり、現在に至るまで鑑賞者の価値観や興味によって多様な捉え方をされてきました。
本トークイベントでは、彼の教唆的とも言える活動が現代にどのような影響を残しているのか、若いアーティストたちによる既存建物への介入によって生まれたオルタナティブ・スペース「mumei」で、アーティストやキュレーターがマッタ゠クラークや自身の作品等について聴衆を交えながら語り合うことからその逆照射を試みます。

Gordon Matta-Clark, an artist who worked in New York in the 1970s. His retrospective exhibition is held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo until September 17.
His works had been engaged with many activities such as art, architecture, street culture, food and so on, and it have been viewed in various ways depends on the values and interests of the viewers until now.
In this event, we try to see the influence of his incited activities on this modern times through the talk between artists, curators and audiences at the alternative space “mumei” born in a young artists intervention in a building existed from before.
