衝突（あるいは裂け目）

北アルプス特有の活発な地殻変動を繰り返してきた土地にある、隣り合う二軒の廃屋を用いて制作。一軒の家の一部分が押し動かされ、隣のもう一軒に突き刺さっている。家と家がぶつかり合い、お互いに干渉し合いながら、新たな空間を作ることを試みた。

“Two houses collided. One was sliced open and detached from its foundation, lodged into the living room of the neighboring structure. Titled Collision (or Rupture) (2021), this installation by Atsuko Mochida was shown at the 2021 Northern Alps Art Festival.
